Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-19

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bookmate Limited, which operates Askmore (askmore.app). By creating an account or using Askmore, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You can reach us at [email protected].

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Askmore. If you use Askmore on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create a security or legal risk. You can stop using Askmore at any time and can ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Askmore to:

We may remove content or restrict access that we reasonably believe breaches these rules.

AI output is not professional advice

Askmore sends your question to several AI models and shows their answers, comparisons and summaries. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or out of date, and it should not be relied on as legal, medical, financial, tax, safety or other professional advice. Verify important conclusions with qualified sources before acting. You are responsible for the decisions you make using Askmore.

Points and payments

Askmore uses points to measure model usage. Every account receives 30 free points each day. Free daily points reset each day, do not roll over and have no cash value.

You can buy one-time point packs: US$5 for 2,000 points and US$20 for 12,000 points. Purchased pack points never expire. Points are a usage unit, not money, deposits or a redeemable asset, and they cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Askmore sells one-time purchases only. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewal and no Apple or Google in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Askmore does not store full card numbers. Refunds are handled manually: email [email protected] to request one, and we review and process each request by hand. Within 30 days of purchase, the unused portion of a point pack can be refunded, minus payment-processor fees. After 30 days, or for points that have already been used, no refund is issued. See our Refund Policy for details.

Your content and licence to us

You keep ownership of the questions, prompts and other content you submit to Askmore. You grant Bookmate Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service, to generate answers and comparisons, to keep usage and billing records and to prevent abuse. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit your content, and you must not submit content you do not have the right to share. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before using it.

Third-party models

The AI models available in Askmore are provided by third parties such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and DeepSeek, accessed through Askmore's model gateway. Askmore provides and pays for model access, so you do not need your own API keys. To answer a question, your prompt and related context are sent to the model providers used for that question. Third-party models are subject to their providers' own terms and availability, and Askmore does not control their output or uptime.

Availability and changes

Askmore is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, pause or discontinue features, models or the service itself, and we may set usage limits to protect the service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Termination

You may stop using Askmore at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the service would create a security, fraud or legal risk. On termination, your right to use Askmore ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licences needed for records, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law — will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Askmore and Bookmate Limited provide the service "as is" and disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookmate Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Askmore in the three months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong SAR have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the service, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Askmore changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a clear notice in the service or by email. Continuing to use Askmore after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
